Makes Windows Vista Look Good
Going from Windows 7 to Windows 8 has been the worst experience I have ever had with an operating system. When I converted it caused my Microsoft MapPoint 2010 software to crash and even with reinstalling it will not work. After you install it, it is a major problem to try and go back to your previous operating system. While my system boots quicker my overall response times are slower.

Windows 8 not to bad
was thinking it was going to be difficult to navigate however, once you get the hang of it, it is not a bad OS

Upgrade Version Provides Less Functionality
I purchased in January 2013 at $69.99 while, unbeknownst to me, Microsoft was offering the non-upgrade version on-line for %40.00. The Upgrade version won't permit you to DualBoot, and the Metro UI is intrusive and cumbersome to use. So if you can stand your OS continually phoning home to Bing, and the lack of a Start button, and a retail Store on your Metro, you'll be rewarded with a considerably more stable and easier to troubleshoot OS. But at $199.99, I'd think twice....

window 8 Pro NO Office
when I buy windows pro I expect to have microwsoft office otherwise I do not see a reason to buy pro. All my windows pro programs I bought before included microwsoft office standard. I will never buy it without office included that would loose its value. I would tell everyone not to buy windows pro till they include Office like it has always been before.

buy this only if you want another cell phone
Windows 8 turns your computer into a cell phone. I do not like it because I want a computer and not another cell phone
