Intel P45SG Socket 775 Barebone Kit - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz, 2GB OCZ DDR3-1333, 500GB SATA II, Clear Side Black ATX Mid-Tower Case, 550-Watt Power Supply

Great Barebone kit. The processor and motherboard cost $400 themselves. Processor does run warm. The memory is great but the Intel board defaults to 1066 (super fast), but can be changed very easily to 1333 but becomes less stable. I installed Vista Home Premium 32bit with NO PROBLEM, No lock-ups. I picked a Thermaltake Ruby Orb with this barebone, but did NOT fit(hit the PSU), but the case delieved broke, so i sent it back and got the Thermaltake Soprano rs101, about a mm of clearance from PSU, or get a full tower(better airflow). The HIS Radeon HD 4850 fits well, but with a better PSU you can use 2x HD4870X2. Can't wait to CrossfireX. For the performance, GREAT BUY!

I completed assembly last week on this kit. It assembled and fired right up with no issues. The combo components are matched well. The one thing to be aware of is you will need a SATA CD/DVD player/burner for this mobo as it has no IDE headers. Then add a cooling fan and rock and roll. I used XP for the operating system and it is very very fast. It is a good buy.
