Not what I expected works only in raid not in wind
Basically wasted money and time would only work as a raid driver

retrieved data from IDE LInux HDs onto Windows 7
Worked exactly as described. Plugged into PCIex1 slot on motherboard, plugged IDE drives into card using HD jumper to set one as master (DS), booted up. HDs were recognized automatically by card and Windows 7. Because the IDE HDs came from a Linux (ext3 filesystem) box, I had to install ext2fsd to read them in Windows 7, but that worked smoothly too.

Not what I thought
I thought that this was going to be a PCI express card that would control an old IDE hard drive as an extra drive in the new box I put together. It recognized the hard drive; however, it only wants to operate in RAID mode, which is not what I wanted. I gave it a low mark for performance since it wasn't what I wanted.

perfect
I bought a motherboard without an IDE header so I needed a way to use my DVD and ATA hard drives. The mini driver disc has a bunch of drivers and I had to figure out which one (jmb-36x) then put it on a usb drive(can't use DVD yet). Works great!

Works Good
Had a few problems installing it, went to the web site like others here said they had, but could not find the drivers online. I finally installed my drivers for my new mother board and the driver that I needed was there, so no problems. Love it.
