Very, very, very sloooooww........ with Windows XP-Home. Takes about 8 minutes to copy pictures (69 files, 110mb). I have a Toshiba USB hard drive that took less than 10 seconds to copy the same files. I will NEVER buy another Samsung hard drive again, NEVER. I called Samsung support, they exchanged it for a new drive that works exactly the same, very, very, sloooowww.....

I must say, I am very impressed with the whole package! You get a nice little case, software, cables, and cleaning towel with it. Very nice, my expectations were exceeded! We liked it so much, we bought 2 more :) This is an excellent purchase if you are looking to upgrade your laptop hard drive as well, this is what we did, swapped them out and now we have a 160GB hard drive in one of our laptops.

I have used this with my MacBook Pro on Leopard with no problem. The only thing Mac users should know beforehand is that it comes formatted NTFS OOB. I repartitioned it with OSX Journaled and haven't had a single problem. Others in my office use it as FAT32 with no problems either on their Macs.

Works fine, but only comes with 140 somthing GB of available storage? Didn't need to install the software just copied all of my stuff on it (plug and play). Installed Overlord the game and now I can play it anywhere, it's great!!. Very quite and doesn't heat up at all. and I like the sleeve that came with it, saves me from buying one.
