Not a good product

Purchased brand new but it was factory defected. Sent back while ago and still waiting for the replacement card. Find a better card, don't buy it..

PCI Card - X1550

I am definitely no techie person, so when i had to buy a new video card, i was completely lost. Just know I needed PCI card. Looked for a couple and got this becuase of the price. Great deal. Snapped it in, installed the program from the CD and haven't had any troubles. Pleased with purchase.

Poor Quality Control

Bought this to put in my gf's computer for her birthday. The video quality is fine. However, the the vga connector was loose, tried to tighten the nuts and they were stripped. Also, have to lay the tower on its side or else the fan doesn't turn. Fan assembly was falling off the board when I opened the package. I have had a couple of VisionTek video cards before and they were fine. Not impressed with the quality control on this one! I am going to see if I can return, exchange or replace this one.

I bought an ATI Radeon 9250 128MB for my parents' PCI-only (ancient) desktop, a Dell Dimension 3000 because it was recommended by the manufacturer. After installing, I found the performance to be worse than the horrible onboard graphics, so I tried this X1550 instead. Huge improvement (though obviously any PCI graphics board is not going to run any of the graphically spectacular games of the past five or so years). Very satisfied with this card, and so are my parents!
