XFX GeForce 6800 Xtreme / 256MB GDDR3 / AGP 8x / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card

Bought this video card so I could play BattleField 2 on my computer that's about 3 years old. BattleField 2 runs smoothly. Much better than the Geforce 440MX I had before. I also tried this in an older computer with 4x AGP and the card worked. The only problem I had was that this card is so long that it makes putting in and removing RAM difficult (but not imposible).

Great card for the money. I don't know what they where shipping in July/September 2006 but it is now an NV41 core. You will get 8pp/4vp as advertised. Period. There is no way to unlock more. Period. However, 3Dmark03 score of ~7500 stock cooling @59C max. YMMV. Overclocked to 450/1250 this increases to ~9500 @76C max. Runs Oblivion full bore at 69C max. Ignore the overall wattage rating on your Power Supply. You will need 16A minimum on the 12V line of your supply to run this card full out.

Can i rum this on a 250W PSU?

I've used this card for over 2 weeks now and I have to say it's incredible! I can run the highest settings on every game (Oblivion, F.E.A.R., Guild Wars Nightfall, & etc). The card is a lot bigger than most graphic cards, but I had no problem with that. This card is a must have if you are a gamer on a budget!
