Freaking awesome card. I've got two of them set up SLI-style with an AMD 4200 X2, and I have yet to play a game that hasn't run completely smooth on max settings. Even on Battlefield 2 in a 64 player map with crazy bullets flying at me it never stutters. Also, super-easy to overclock; I've got the core and RAM overclocked by about 20%, no trouble. All that combined with the price makes this card pretty much unbeatable.

This is a very nice card, performs well on Doom 3, Half-Life 2, NFS: Most Wanted, plus just about everything else I've thrown at it (usually on maximum resolution & detail settings, as well). The only game it hasn't smoked through is GTA: San Andreas, though that particular game is still quite playable; for all I know it might be because of (a) a sloppy port of the PS2 version, or (b) it's a little too much for my modest 3.06 ghz P4. Worst case scenario you'll have to knock down the detail & resolution settings for the occasional game, and if that's a problem for you, you should probably invest in a 7900GT(X). The only serious deficiency I can find with this unit is the cooling fan, it can be a little loud at times (especially at start-up, but it dies down fairly quick), but it doesn't usually kick in unless you're running a graphic-intensive application/game, so you probably don't need to worry about it annoying you while you're just working at your computer. Overall, a good card!

Excellent value for money. Upgraded from a 6600 GT since system requirements are now asking for at least a 6800 GT on new games. All my games run much smoother with higher settings, easily running High-Ultra High with everything. Much lower power requirements than higher end cards, doesn't require any extra connectors. Runs at low temperatures even being OC out of the box. eVGA's version of the 7600GT is ~$50 less than some of the other brands, yet is identical performance-wise. The ONLY difference is it isn't as highly overclocked out the box, which you easily do yourself. Gamers who want to run with high settings yet are unable or unwilling to pay for a 7800/7900 should seriously consider this.
