Gone back and forth on this one... Its been the hardest build I have ever had. Still working with it and its still not stable. My first one was DOA. This one works but its incredibly unstable. I purchased this bundle thinking I would save some money, but had to send the ram and processor back cause this MB would not work with either. It does work with XP 2000+ and DDR333, but those have to go back into another pc.

Was concerned about processor. Built computer with XP SP1 then upgraded to SP2 with no problems. Had issue with older video card, so called Abit with long wait but resolved issue. For the money great motherboard and processor.

Had to upgrade bios to reconize cpu. Could not load XP with sp2. Abit tech support was no help. Tiger was very helpful. After much time and aggravation, I replaced the MB with a Gigabyte 7VT600P-RZ, at some extra cost. System was up and running in less than a hour with no issues, and has been rock stable for two weeks.

Pretty Good Motherboard -- yes, it requires an extra power plug, but since I have a 400W power supply, that was no problem for me. At first after building the system, I couldn't get a POST beep, I would get an infinitely repeating long beep. After looking up Award Bios Beep Codes, I saw that code meant ''cannot find RAM.'' So, after simply removing and replacing the RAM (same stick), it worked fine. Make sure to upgrade to the latest sound drivers from their website, otherwise the microphone sounds like crap (in XP, anyway). Installed a Western Digital 250GB SATA drive, though it went a bit rough (it appears they WANT you to use the SATA as a RAID, as if I could afford TWO 250GB SATA drives), but after installing the SATA Utility from the CD, it works fine. The only real quirks I have with this mobo is that even though it has built-in sound, it has no built-in gameport (for joysticks). My other mobo with built-in sound did. Oh well, maybe I'll have to buy a crummy sound card.

Reading ABIT and AMD forums, I was concerned. But I didn't need to be worried. Bundle arrived quickly, latest BIOS preinstalled, cool LEDs on ThermalTake TR2-M1. Board can handle this chip no problem. Running stable at standard speed (200MHz * 10 = 2000 MHz on-chip speed) with PC Power & Cooling 350W ATX PS.
