Unreal for $80! Rock solid performance is a plus (mine has Kingston memory). No temp sensor on CPU and no I/O plate for the ATX box are minuses. Also, the CPU heatsink is VERY tricky to install - so take your time because if you don't get it right the CPU will FRY!

Hi, This is a pretty good combination from Tiger. Although, I have a little problem in the beginning installing the OS, after few tries, they worked great. Stop hearing from the wife saying the old machines is keep crushing. So far after running 1 month, there is no one crash. My wife use this machine for work, constantly running Illustrator CS and it is fast.

Overall I am well pleased. This was my first build from scratch and it went off without a hitch. Put it all together & posted with no problems, it even had the latest bios so I didn't need to worry about updating it. Loaded Win XP Pro- once again no problems. As far as the temp sensors, yes that doesn't seem to be included in the bios. But thanks to K-mac below I downloaded SpeedFan and it does give you the temps- though how accurate that is I'm not sure.

Delivery was prompt and everything arrived intact. Been using the combo for two months now in a newly built computer and it's been working great--as advertised & reviewed. For a day-to-day machine, the price point is excellent. The manual is average but the earlier reviewers' comments were most helpful.

I have a relatively old ATX case, but this motherboard fit right in, with the layout creating no problems or bottlenecks. I put a good Masscool fan on the Barton, and it's quiet and cool. The jumpers were set correctly and the puppy booted up right away, with BIOS parameters all set correctly already. I added a 2 module Corsair kit ''VS1GBKIT400'' which lists itself as dual channel capable, and the motherboard correctly boots up with a message ''dual channel memory detected'' as long as you make sure one of the modules is in the 3rd slot. This was a pleasant surprise I think you'd all like to know. I let XP reinstall itself (it preserved all my settings and programs) from the original cd, and two hours later all is perfect. Great deal!
