TigerDirect wins sales growth award

Miami computer reseller TigerDirect said it has been named the Seagate partner with greatest growth in disk products for 2002. Privately held Scotts Valley, Calif.-based Seagate manufactures storage technology such as disk drives for Internet, business and consumer applications. TigerDirect said it received the award from Seagate in recognition of its sales growth for Seagate disk drive products, including hard disk drives and other storage devices. TigerDirect is a subsidiary of Port Washington, N.Y., computer marketer Systemax (NYSE: SYX).
