TigerDirect announced today the limited time exclusive online launch of GAMESXCOPY from 321 Studios. TigerDirect will offer the product on their website www.tigerdirect.com .
One of the major complaints of PC gamers is that you must use the "master" CD in order for the game to play in your CD/DVD drive. GAMESXCOPY allows the user to make backup copies of their PC games. This allows them to store the master in the event the backup becomes unusable, another can be made. Additionally, this software allows the user to create "virtual" drives on the users' hard drive, allowing them to not use a disc at all!
This product is designed to protect the owner's investments in games by allowing the backing-up of games onto computer hard drives or a blank disc.
The software can enhance the experience of playing a game because it creates four virtual drives on a personal computer's hard drive, allowing the user to play multi-disc games without pausing to insert discs.
"You no longer need to worry about scratches and broken or lost games," said Robert Moore, President of 321 Studios. "Now, you can protect your investment in your children's PC games collection by backing it up with GAMESXCOPY."
Parents who use the company's DVD X Copy software to make backups of movies requested the new product, said Julia Bishop-Cross, a 321 Studios spokeswoman. The product works on games made for computers, not on console games like PlayStation and Xbox.
"TigerDirect always brings the latest products to the table," said Gilbert Fiorentino, CEO. "This addition to the 321 Studios line is a great resource for PC gamers."
