What's a
"TransNote?"...
Well,
it looks like an ordinary portfolio notebook, like the one you carried
to class or to a meeting. It opens up like an ordinary portfolio
as well, holding a paper notepad. But on the other side of the portfolio
is a slim, 600MHz Mobile Pentium III-based notebook PC, with keyboard
and "pivot-up" LCD ultra-flat panel display! When you
write on the notepad using IBM's specialized ink pen, a sensor underneath
picks up your notes and transfers them to an application on the
PC where they can be stored, edited and e-mailed. It's a great gift
