I have purchased two of these units and I think they are great monitors. ''The pictures are clear and sharp and there is plenty of brightness and contrast to be able to see photos and DVD movies the way they were meant to be seen. I'm not real fond of the speakers, but then I have external speakers I use anyway. For the price, I feel this is a good buy.

I use the monitor for word processing, and web surfing. I use a very expensive NEC monitor at work, and I like this one more. I'm not sure about the quality for gaming, but for my uses this is definetly the best bargain.

The rebate is slow. However itself is a good monitor. Now I do not think it's big enough. I am looking at another Dell 24''.

Excellent monitor once it's fully adjusted for gamma, brightness etc. Recommend using Microsoft's Clear Type, a free download for for XP users with LCD monitors. Have been waiting 4 months and still Have not received $50 rebate
