Awesome Monitor

I bought the monitor for my sons gaming system as his birthday present. When we got the box it was beat up a bit and upon taking it out of said box it was very evident that it had been opened and fired up (cable bags were opened). I told my son that it was probably just tested but I wish if that was the case that I had been told that. anyway, it works fine and extremely clear for gaming, display port hooked to a GTX 680 graphics card makes it rock. All in all an expensive but great monitor.

Absolutely loved my 3D monitor... I was a bit skeptical about buying a 3D monitor given my previous experience with 3D tv's but it has been worth the extra bucks...... I LOVE their costumer service and Prices :)

Customer Support is Awesome!!!

I bought the 27 inch monitor and 4 year extended warranty. Straight out of the box the right side of the screen didn't work. Samsung support was terrible. The website didn't work correctly and phone support follows different procedures and the two will not deviate. Tiger Direct Customer Support was AWESOME! I should have called them first. They are shipping a new monitor out right now and they issued a call tag for me to ship the defective monitor back. Do yourself a favor, buy a different monitor from here or work with their tech support or customer service first. 23Jul2012 The replacement monitor arrived and during the unpacking process, I found that the power cord wasn't included. It had 2 DVI cords instead. Once again I had to call Tiger Direct Support for an exchange. They are expediting an order to ship another monitor out and I have to mail the first replacement back. Great screen with quality control issues

well I have the same experience as you, I had to RMA my first monitor with dead pixel, I am now awaiting my second monitor and I hope have no more problem for 2d game recommend it runs at 120hz wth the cable dual DVI and another thing, to work well syncmaster 3D (TriDef 3D) I recommend the ati video card, why not work with nvidia card.

Great screen with quality control issues

I absolutely love this screen and it's the best I've used however I'm on my second screen, after RMA'ing the first screen due to a dead pixel and some bright back light bleed in the bottom right corner I received another as a replacement and it had a dead pixel in another location and the same back light bleed problem. I gave up trying after this point, at the price of this monitor it shouldn't be unheard of to expect perfection in the build quality. This screen is great for the 2d games I use it for, there is virtually no delay in response time and games look beautiful and smooth, especially when the games are running at 120hz with frames to match. I would highly recommend this screen but wish I didn't have the minor issues to complain about, I wish I could return mine for another replacement unfortunately too much time has passed since my original purchase date, I'll deal with the minor issues I (and others) have experienced.

They only thing i wish it came with is a remote to swtich in between video inputs and the 3D setting.
