The H50006 is a V.92 56K Fax modem that is built with a Agere (Lucent) chipset. It offers reliability and stable connections that allow user to access the Internet painlessly. The Modem Net On Hold feature allows users who have call waiting to pick up phone calls without getting disconnected from the Internet. With just a few clicks, the user will be able to resume the connection after finishing the phone call.

Disapointed
I had to replace H50003 with this H50006. Was getting over 50kbps and now the highest is 41.2. I'm going to use this until I find another.

Highly Recommended
I installed this modem under Windows XP, and had no trouble whatsoever. I live at the far end from town of a long stretch of phone line, and the best I can do is 28.8 kbps. This mdem signs on at 28.8 kbps every time.
