Disapointed
I had to replace H50003 with this H50006. Was getting over 50kbps and now the highest is 41.2. I'm going to use this until I find another.

Highly Recommended
I installed this modem under Windows XP, and had no trouble whatsoever. I live at the far end from town of a long stretch of phone line, and the best I can do is 28.8 kbps. This mdem signs on at 28.8 kbps every time.

Hiro 50006 for Windows 7
Excellent value for money. Just make sure that you get the correct modem driver for the version of Windows 7 that you are running. For Windows 7 - 64 bit that is the Agere Soft Modem 2298x64

Excellent product and deal
Installed easily, including driver on CD. Updated driver readily available from both Hiro website and Microsoft Windows Update website. Am getting the best transfer rate of any of my other Win XP Pro SP3 computer modems at 52kbps. Can't beat that unless you use a high speed ISP.
