Networking

Simply install the NC9100h Internal Print/Fax Server and multiple users can connect to the MFC for direct network printing, faxing, and scanning.

Digital Copier

A fast, full function copier, chock full of options. Reduce or enlarge, from 25% to 400% in 1% increments. Crisp laser-quality copies, at up to 21 per minute, and it may be used as a stand-alone copier without it even being attached to your PC.

Plain Paper Fax
A fast, efficient, versatile fax with room to grow. Sending or receiving standard or legal size documents is easy with this model’s sheet-fed design, and fast with its Super G3 33.6K bps fax modem. Going to an all day meeting or even out of town? Not to worry. This MFC has a standard memory capacity of up to 32MB (up to 600 pages*), so incoming faxes will be saved even if you run out of paper. And, with the MFC-8220, there’s never any waiting around. With its Dual Access feature, you can send your fax into memory even while another is being received. You can even broadcast a fax to up to 382 locations.

Scanner
Scan one or many documents at the touch of a button. Adding images to your work has never been quicker or easier. Now, you can scan photos, images, and documents at resolutions up to 9600 dpi. ScanSoft® PaperPort® and OmniPage® OCR software are included for Windows® and Presto!®PageManager® for Mac®. Scanning features include “Scan to File,” “Scan to E-mail,” or “Scan to OCR.”

Versatile Paper Capacity
Receive lots of faxes? The MFC-8220 comes with a standard 250-sheet paper tray — adjustable for both letter or legal size paper. Think you might still run out of paper? Then you’ll be happy to know that you can add an additional 250-sheet paper tray, for a total paper capacity of 500 sheets.

PC Fax

You don’t have to use paper or even leave your desk. With the MFC-8220, you have the option of sending and/or receiving faxes from your Windows®-based PC — saves time and allows you to preview a fax before it is printed.

Wide Compatibility
Works with Mac, PC...or just about anything. Whether you are running Windows®, Mac® or DOS®, this MFC is for you. You can connect the MFC-8220 to your computer by USB or Parallel port. Supported print emulations include PCL6, BR-Script3 (PostScript® Level 3). Have multiple users in your office? Then you’ll be happy to know you have the option of running the MFC on your network to share printing, scanning, and faxing.

3-Color LCD Display
It tells you what to do, and what it’s doing. This MFC has a large LCD display that provides all the instruction needed to complete a task. It also has a 3-color button display, allowing you to clearly see your MFC’s status from a distance. The enhanced control panel function buttons (Fax/Copy/Scan) offer convenient walk-up copying, faxing, or scanning.
