Good reliable drive
I've been using LaCie drives for a number of years, and they've always been reliable. Same with this one, it's a good example of the quality and workmanship. The speeds are good. The design is thoughtful, it's so easy to just throw the drive in the bag and carry it around.

Great Rugged Drive
I can't think of anything negative to say about this drive, it's everything I was hoping for. The casing is very solid, it gets knocked about in my handbag all day, and it doesn't even get scratched! I don't have to worry about dropping it on the floor, either, apparently it can withstand even that shock. Really pleased with it.

Awesome Drive
My favorite features about this drive are its rugged design and the possibility to set it to Eco-mode. The age old problem of leaving the external drive plugged into my laptop overnight only to return to a flat battery is now well in the past. If the drive isn't being accessed, it significantly lowers the power consumption.

very good
This is a brilliant product, very simple to use. Very quick too. It helps with transferring large files. Perfect for anybody who needs fast portable storage solution. I'd buy it again.

Works Great!
The USB 3.0 speeds and 1TB storage space are excellent. Installation only took a few minutes, and I've also setup data encryption. The drive has been working seamlessly so far. No issues whatsoever.

My favorite portable drive
Keeping a secure backup of documents and photos is utterly essential. I have two separate drives for backups and bought this Rugged Mini recently as a third drive. It's very compact and rugged. I can take it with me everywhere in my laptop bag. It's a great product, I'm happy with it.

Good rugged drive
I got the this drive as a birthday gift for my daughter because she needed her own drive and Rugged Mini seemed like the right choice. She uses it all the time at home and at the college, and so far everything works like a charm.

Happy with my choice
I love this drive. It works well, and with it, I don't have to worry about than whether there's enough space left on my drive (with 1 TB I've got more than I need), whether it's secure (with the Public-Private encryption software, it is), or whether my data will become inaccessible because the design is insufficiently robust. Everything else (Wuala, Eco) is icing on the cake.

I love it
I picked up my Rugged Mini on my way to the airport, and I was truly pleased when the unit went to work right out of the box, because I had no time to fiddle with setup programs. When I got home from my trip, I took a look at the preloaded software and was pleasantly surprised by its scope.

great hard drive
Until the other day I thought the Rugged Mini was just another external drive. That was until I was unexpectedly caught out walking home in the rain. The drive was in my backpack but I knew everything inside was getting wet. Thankfully the drive stood up to its water-resistant claims and my data was still safe and secure.
