More then I wanted to spend - but it works great!
This is used a business conference room to allow a laptop to connect to a wall mounted display (TV). I tried a passive extender that I purchased on eBay - it would work fine if the sending device had a fixed output, like a DVD player, but it was unable to work with a sending device that could auto sense the output device (like a laptop). The Atlona extender works great in our conference room. Every laptop we have connected has sensed the display and worked.

Worth the price
I've tried other extenders at a lower cost and ended up going to the Atlona. When it needs to work right, the first time, for a long time, spend the extra bucks and get one of these.
