installed in minutes
Have installed RAM in desktops before and the only concern I had was that the max bandwidth of the 4GB module in my laptop was 800MHz and this was 667MHz. If they weren't compatible I would have bought another matching 667MHz. Well installation went fine and laptop is now showing 8GB RAM and working smooth and fast.

Works as advertised
I puurchased the chip to upgrade my RAM from 4mb to 8mb and everything went well. I can't tell if performance was upgraded because I never used the computer with only 4mb.

Don't know if I needed it.
I bought this for my HP laptop 8 GB. Installed it with no problems and it runs fine. Cant really tell if the upgrade made a difference from 4GB. Haven't had a hang up or slowdown since.

Good Product
Great product, installed with no issues. I bought 2 sticks (8gig). Tested the memory after I installed it and it tested fine. Just wish my laptop could take more as I work with memory hungry applications and have already maxed this out.

Save your money, time and headache
Purchased for myself cause I figured it would give me too much trouble if something went wrong. WAS I WRONG!!! Memory caused blue screen of death about every 5 minutes. Always a different file listed as problem. Tried swapping memory to different slot and running alone but no configuration worked. Wasted plenty of time fiddling around with windows trying to get this thing to work. The cost is not worth the headache. Should have gone with my first instinct and purchased one of the brands brand that I have used frequently instead of tryimg to save a few bucks. Will be a long time before the PNY brand earns my trust, if they ever do.

Awesome deal for iMac
I bought this RAM thinking would not work for my iMac (2010) 21.5' . Still bought it even I saw bad reviews. The only reason was it was cheap! But to my surprise this RAM (4GB) worked like charm on my iMac with no issues what so ever. I just had to restart my machine twice afar installing it. Now I'm running with 8 GB ram with 4GB from PNY and rest came with mac as default. I think I'm buying more ram now.. Cheers! g
