Got it because the ethernet circuit on the motherboard went out. The computer already had a driver for it.

Lucky for me I bought a second one. This one worked. The PCI-E one didn't. Installed easily. No problem. Good luck.

My Hero Hiro
My OEM integrated Ethernet went belly up and I didn't want to pay a lot for an Ethernet card for a 10 year old desktop. I shopped around and Hiro had the best price and best review so I went for it and I am very happy with it! And so is my old desktop!

Great Product, Good Price
For anyone looking for a great ethernet card, this one is a good buy. Had a very old computer that was given to me. I believe the computer was running Windows 2000, so I installed Ubuntu 10.10, and this card worked flawlessly. Highly recommend this card to anyone!

Plug N play
works right out of the box, no driver needed (for Win7). I wish it came with a low profile mounting bracket (for small form factor PC's).

Excellent product and price, great service
Ordering was easy, shipping was fast, installation was piece of cake, and the product works magic at an exellent price. After 2 frustrated weeks for not able to connect to internet after upgrading to windows 8, this ethernet card proved to be a great product!

Did exactly what it was bought for.
It is hard to fault a product that does exactly what it was purchased for, right out of the box. It added a small network to my office for two computers and a printer in about 2 minutes.
