This DOES have 7 outlets - the 3 you see in the picture and 4 more (close together) on the side. Good power cable, feels solid. Has a grounded outlet indicator light. I haven't been struck by lightning yet, so I can't say how well the surge suppression works... I'm happy with it for 15 dollars.
