It's OK.
I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a 5 year old laptop with a 5400rpm hard drive. I was hoping to turn it into a blazing pile of silicon! I put in the SSD and reinstalled windows7. It seems a bit faster. The Windows Experience rating went from 5.2 to 7.3 so I know objectively it is faster but it is hard to tell in actual use. Still, I like the idea of no moving parts.

Good kit!
Worked as expected out of the box. Our first of what will surely be many SSDs. There was nothing even close for this price.

Love It
Have it in an HP nx7400, win 7 hard drive performance went from 5.8 to 7.1. Win 7 loads in under 35 seconds, what's not to like.

Crashed on first day of use
First uh-oh. Product arrived opened where the sticker covers the box flap, it was ripped. Installation using SuperDup-- for MBPro was smooth. It took an hour to format the drive for OS-X and copy over 50gb. Benchmarks were accurate to posted numbers. However, within a few hours, the beachball started spinning. Mouse would move but no programs reacted, and the Finder Menu disappeared. Force quit didn't work so had to power reboot. The same thing happened after 3 consecutive reboots. I did disabled spotlight indexing.

RMA after two weeks
Worked fine for about two weeks and then started hanging on boot shortly after loading desktop. Working through RMA with Corsair now.
