Hallelujah
I was delighted to find such a great deal on a good laptop that has Window 7 rather than 8 (I HATE WINDOWS 8). I set it up in minutes and it's been working beautifully without so much as a hiccup for months. So happy I purchased!

Me likey
I like this Gateway much better than the dell inspiron 17r I gave $800.00 for just weeks prior to this purchase ! It has windows 7 installed , that alone makes it worth more than the dell . Windows 8 sucks a big one ! I am tempted to buy a second one and use the dell for batting pratice .

Everything you need in a laptop at fantastic price
This laptop bats 1000 for me. Large bright 17.3 display, bright easy to read keyboard, fast processor, camera, and plenty of HDD. Comes with Windows 7 - perfect. I don't have a smart phone, I don't need 8. Comes with a wireless mouse - perfect. Much faster than normal laptop touch strip. The ac charger adapter has gotten smaller and lighter. And the 4GB DDR3 can be upped to 8GB for the very moderate of gaming I do.
