New drive had failures and bad spots
WE ued Seagate disk test and it showed the drve was ok. WE then ran two other disk tests and they both showed the drive had bad spots and errors on it. We returned it and got a replacement.

Great 2 TB Hard Drive
We had to replace our 1 TB hard drive and I just couldn't pass on a good value. There are only two names I really trust in hard drives and Seagate is one of them. We installed it and it's performing like a champ.

Great drive, Seagate delivers once again
As a long time Seagate user I have never had a bad HDD from them so this was a no brainer. This replaced an older 700g cuda because it was filling up fast. Others mention issues with windows recognizing it. This is because after vista you have to go into Computer Management Disc Management and let windows install it. You have to do this with any drive new or old and is a windows issue post vista. I used sea tools to test the drive and had it hang on the long test because I was installing disc wizard at the same time. Contacted Seagate and they responded later that night (talk about fast CS). This drive passed all the tests (once I stopped installing software) and is noticeably faster than the older cuda even though windows experience still gives it a 5.9. disc wizard only took 1 hour to migrate about 400g. Even though it has been my boot drive for only 1.5 weeks it seems to have no issues running any programs that were migrated.

Fast drive but potential issue with old computers
It's much faster than my prior drive but my 5yr old Win7 computer had issues after migrating my boot drive to this. Windows Update and some less important MS features stopped working, turns out this drive is the 4k Advanced Format kind so I had to install an Intel driver before it resolved my problems. Less of an issue but still annoying, I had to realign my data drives as the program I used to switch to this drive didn't align the partition correctly. Probably just an annoyance but when the drive starts up it makes a weird noise that is normally heard from dying hard drives.
