Seagate ST1500DL003
I purchased this drive for a Church unit that records services and make recording available for CD burning later. I used the LP and Tape recorder in Roxio 12. Recordings are set to create a new track every 3.5 minutes with a time limit of 74 minutes. After recordings are complete they are burned to an image on the hard drive for later CD burning if copies are requested. This hard drive will allow me about 10,000 recording. I have used the drive about 6 times and it is fast and works great. It was no trouble setting up and installing Windows 7 Pro and software. I have used Seagate Barracuda drives a long time. They are more durable and priced better than ever. But always remember, nothing beats a good backup system.

Wonderful
Already had one of these and was glad to see them go on sale again. I use them with Sabrent's external USB cases. They work great with both Win 7 and Win 8. Wish I had enough extra on hand so I could get a couple more of these.

EXCELLENT!
This is an awesome HDD. Lots of space, quiet, and quick considering it is energy efficient. Comes unformatted and uninitialized so you have to go deep into windows to find it and make it recognizable as a storage source but once that is done there are no issues that i could see. Aside from having to format it, which is S.O.P. these days, this is a plug and play HDD.
