solid board

not many features or expandability options, but it was great for a budget board. I can run any game i need to with the items the board can support. never had an overheating issue and it fits in my case just fine. no dead ports or anything. The built in audio is great!!!!!

Running like a champ

I loaded Ultimate Edition 3.4 Linux (Ubuntu 12.04 based) and it's extremely fast on this system. The UE 3.4 identified everything correctly and no problems. Dual booting a MythTV installation and it runs with no issues either. Also very fast. I'm quite happy.

got barebones kits won't run win 7 64 bit with ram

Got this as a barebones kit, with amd phenom II and 2- cosair 4GB ram, seagate 1.5 tb HD, great deal but can't get the mobo to take both ram chips when running windows 7 64 bit. tested both ram to work on both slots. saw that the 4GB from consair is NOT supported by this board on their site. can't even put the 2nd chip in without BSOD.

Bought this with a barebones kit and everything fit together with no problems. Very happy with the resulting computer :)

Great Motherboard

Purchased as part of my first barebones kit. Assembly went fine, everything works as it should. Would have liked to have had USB 3.0, but for the price no complaints. Paired with a Phenom X6 processor and a SSD, this is a screaming fast PC at a great price.

I have never had a problem with any of the products, nor shipping, or anything else with this site. It may be possible to beat the price, maybe, but you won't beat the service.

Another fine board from Gigabyte

I purchased this with a barebones kit. Honestly, you can't go wrong with Gigabyte boards. I've never had any issues with them whatsoever. The only down side is the features, or should I say featureless. It has basic amount of ports, which is enough to get by for any average user.

Great Motherboard!

I have no issues with this motherboard! Runs like a champ running Windows 7. The only issue I had was when I was putting it together,the plug to run the processor didn't match up with the power supply. I called Gigabyte and the told me to use half the plug. Problem solved

This is one great kit

I purchased the barebones kit, and installation went smooth. The fan assembly already has thermal tape on it. I also purchased a video card and a wireless card. Install these after first installing Win 7 64 bit. The only hiccup was that the power supply voltage switch was set to 230V. The system initially would only power up for 3-4 seconds. By chance, I noticed the setting - switch is near power cord connector - and I changed it to 120V. Then it powered up fine. For front case connections, check the case manual and note the marking on the connector end of the wires so that you plug them in properly. I also added two case fans. This is one fast machine, rivaling my son's I7 laptop. My processor is the Phenom II 6 core 1055T. I set the CPU fan speed to 100%, and it now is stable at 30C with case at 35C. Use wire cable ties to keep wiring neat. If more PCI slots are needed, buy an ATX motherboard, which will fit in this case. This kit is very, very nice.
