the only reason I gave it a 4 on performance is because it is still in the box. I have never put it in a pc yet.

Inexpensive but a good buy
I needed an upgrade for a desktop I came across and it works perfect. I have used the desktop with the power supply for about 2 weeks to test it out, then sell the system, so I am not the one to ask. Jimmy

It's cheap, works, and is quiet not alot of noise
I used it as a test something was wrong with my computer, and the case psu had bad reviews on here, I found out the psu wasn't bad, but same day another computer was dead no power on, I hooked this up quick and it turned on. So problem solved, I didn't end up using this one I got a more watt psu,the other computer is the same old psu that went bad, so I have a replacement now handy

Perfect for older system
Well, I have 3 old bare-bones systems I purchased between 2002-2005 with the old AMD single core chips in them. After upgrading to new systems over the years, I've parted-out the 430w PS and used them for other units. These units work great for the older machines. They now run Linux, one is my network server.

Excellent PSU replacement
Great value. The PSU is quiet. It even came with the vibration dampener for no extra charge. Fits perfectly in my old 3GHz Celeron PC.
