Very disappointed by poor support for apple

This wireless access point does not (according to amped support) support the apple protocols such as AirPlay, AirPrint, iTunes, etc.... I have a mix of apple and non-apple devices and this poor support for half of the devices I own will cause me to consign this device to the scrap heap. Be aware of this shortcoming before you buy this device, in every other way this device has worked well.

Some setup issues

I have CAT 6 cable in my home that had been working with my playstation for months. I bought this, plugged it in and it refused to work. Even stumped the support guy. It wasn't until I installed CAT 5 cable that it started working. As well my playstation refuses to work when attached via wire to the device. Despite being 2 feet away to this day it's still communicating via wifi. On the plus side, it has terrific range and has made wireless networking in my home a snap. It also has amplification settings so if you want best range you crank it up, if you want to save electricity you can turn it down. Overall I'm disappointed however, if all I wanted was a wireless access point I could of spent less money. The ethernet ports are currently unused in my device. Perhaps I'll try yet again to get the PS3 working via wired connection tonight.

Awesome access point

This Amped AP wireless access point not only has a stronger signal than our previous (and fairly new) wireless-N access point, but it is faster too!!!! It covers our entire house and has no problems with our many devices, including wifi printers and smartphones and tablets (yes, even devices from the fruit-named company). Setup was incredibly easy for our peer-to-peer network in our house. I love plug-and-play devices, and this WAP was everything that I wanted with no headaches. I'm so impressed with this Amped product that when I needed a wifi USB adapter to get my son's new computer onto our network, I got the one that Amped makes (it's awesome too). I will definately by Amped products from now on.

Very pleased - much better than competing products

I've used Linksys and Netgear over the years and this wasw the first time I've used an amped wireless product. I'm pleased with the product and the technical support. I'm able to speak with an engineer in the US, not a person in another country reading a script and wasting my time. I'm planning to buy another product fromm them.
