my old power supply died after 6 years put this one in and up and running with no problems works exactly as expected good value

It can not be used with the package.
When the whole package was assemblied, the power supply can not match with the mother board. It is useless to me.

not good for the kit ordered
kit bundled by a stoned guy who mounted it directly on the side panel??? wires way too short.

Good basic supply
The supply works quite well. However, I had to add RFI filtering. The supply generates a lot of radio frequency noise that required suppression for my use.

No good for the kit it came with
Power cables were too short to easily reach their destinations - no way to route them. This power supply would not reliably power up the completed kit. I ended up replacing it with a larger power supply to make the kit build operational.

This item made my kit unbuildable
The 12V connector does not reach the motherboard. I can not complete my kit until I find an extension connector. Whoever designed the kit did it wrong. I did not buy a kit to have to go hunting for individual parts.

Not a Bottom Fan Unit
okay for a cheap power supply - 485W is pretty low by today's standards. Has the old-style rear fan rather than the large bottom fan that most current manufacture cases are set up for. I wouldn't recommend it because I think there are better fans out there for a similar price

Decent for a cheap PSU
Provides the power stated, runs cool and quiet. Its up to time to tell how good this supply is now. Hard to beet for the money though.

came with barebones kit
could have used 3 sata power connectors just bought and adaptor fix problem
