Works sporadically
Wanted to digitize VHS. Works to a degree but regularly stops because of 'copy protection.' Will even stop in the middle of digitizing because of that. Not very helpful, especially when it does so on home movies.

Windows 7 Home Premium Works great!
For the price it is great. I've been wanting to archive some content from old VHS tapes, but also works well with my DVR... I haven't explored all the software, but looks like i could get creative, but I only use this for archival purposes.

Acceptable
The hardware is simple and provides adequate transfer requirement. However, the software provided is worthless. Had to purchase the latest version of software and worked very well, when used on a Win7 laptop.

Gets the job done
Pretty much as adversied, it captures video with S-Video and Composite. I use it for game captures, and it works well having S-Video to split the signal to run it to TV as well as the USB, but it's smooth enough playback for use without a TV on some games. The included software was a letdown, crashing when used with the hardware (Win7 x64).
