Great Value, Good Tablet
Great tablet and a great value if you are willing to tinker a bit. Plenty of horsepower and storage, but the tablet is stymied by it's stock software. GTablet is discounted because it ships with an older version of Android, and Viewsonic has moved on and will not update it past Android 2.2 (Froyo). The tablet is decent out of the box, but fantastic with some of the community developed ROMs from XDA and SlateDroid (VEGAnTab Ginger Edition is great; C&C v8 Ultimate Froyo is lightning fast and supports all tablet features). Overall very satisfied.

Not worth buying
I bought this device after several months of touch pad research. I was disapointed almost immediately. Unfortunately I didn't look into returning it until 3 months later and should have tried within the first month. First this device has the worse touch I have ever seen and I could not find a setting to adjust the touch sensitivity. Second the response is extremely slow. Booting up takes about 90 seconds to 2 min. Third it is much heavier than expected. Fourth when viewing websites the device will constantly return to previous pages and sometimes will close the internet connection. I am an IT pro not a novice. This device is not worth buying. It is a shame that the return policy is not similar to other web companies. I didn't look into returning it soon enough so now I am stuck with it.

very cool for my first tablet!
Just like so many reviews say, this thing kicks butt for the price! My wife got it for me for Christmas, and she uses it too!lol The only downside is I think I will have to root it, once I work up the courage.... lol

perfect 1st tablet
This is our first tablet. Knew right up front,that we would have to root and flash. My wife is pleased with the tablet,and is learning all the apps. as we go. Think that this tablet is well worth the money,and so is the square trade deal. I think you get what you paid for.

Good Priced Tablet for the Hardware
Good hardware for the money, but the closed market is restrictive. At $300 delivered (Shipping and Tax) I gave it an honest eval before rooting. I needed to utilize the tablet for digital sign offs for field tickets and the apps market did not have the app. I rooted and tried several version. I am currently on Honeycomb (flashback distro) and it works great. Recommended buy for the hardware along.
