Not Satisfied
I could never get it to actually sync and called the company 2-times with no call back on what I may have been doing wrong. Card Scan by Dymo is so much simpler to use and works from the first time. Please do also note the these guys gave me great service when it came time to return the item for credit.

Just OK
Pros: Well Integrated into Outlook Easy Corrections to OCR Errors Cons: OCR is only Fair Almost every card needs correcting Unit Jams easily Cards need a push to get scan started

Does the job albeit with glitches.
Was a big help to me in converting from business cards to Excel database. However, I encountered many duplicates due to first name full name recognition.

Great Companion
My friend recommended this unit to me and it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do: I scanned more than 100 business cards with no problems and little recognition errors. Most of the errors were due destroyed cards or exaggerated logos with business names in them or shiny,dark cards. The design is simple, compact, and functional. It includes extension cable, software CD, user manual, calibration card and registration card. The software is easy to navigate. Exporting to Outlook and Excel flawless as well. If you are looking for an efficient, affordable, high quality card reader...buy this.

Great scanner for the money!
I've used other scanners similar to this, and they are all imperfect. But this one is easy to use and edit the cards as I go. And it interfaces with Outlook very well.

No good
Well built product, however if you are used to a cardscan product, extreme disappointment will follow. The software is crap. Takes too much time to get things in the right field. Recognition of characters awful.Worked with it a month and hate it.

not a time saver
it misses a lot of information. The info it does record is often placed in the wrong category. Then you have to spend a lot of time editing. It would be faster to just sit down and fill in a good contact program manualy. This was a waste of money.

Not what I was expecting
The device does not work very well with regard to recognizing the different fonts on business cards. 90% require editing after scan, you can alomost enter the info from the card quicker than by scanning.

Works Great! 95% Accurate and Fun!
As a Executive Coach I attend a lot of networking functions and need to invite contacts to my newsletter mailing list. 10 second scan, 30 seconds per card to review and check data and I'm done. Then export the XLS and import in Constant Contact and Google Contacts. I'm very happy with the performance after scanning 200 cards and it actually makes it fun.
