Buy it! Not bad for the price.
I wanted some higher storage on my new system and this Seagate was available on sale... soooo... Had a bit of hassle to start; Gigabyte MoBo would recognize it in BIOS but not Win7 64-bit Admin. Had a copy of Seagate DiscWizard so then I was able to get it recognized just fine. Partitioned to two drives and using it as a temp repository for blah blah blah.

Good so Far
I have been running the drive for about 2 weeks now. Running as good as it gets. Folks just need to remember to format the drive when they get it. I am using it in an external docking station. Great Value...
