Super cool and quiet CPU cooler

No complaints whatsoever with this Thermaltake product. I've used this brand numerous times over the past 20 years and have always been quite pleased.

Kind of loud

Basic cooling fan. It fit on the processor easily, plugged in perfectly, but it is noisy.

Not so hot !!!

This cooler was supplied with an AMD FX-6100 CPU. Definitely not adequate. Temp. just kept going up at idle. Shut it down at over 75C. Don't know how much heat this CPU can handle, and I don't want to find out the hard way! With the case side off and a big room fan blowing in full tilt, it idled at 61C. Cooler is OK, easy to install, just not suitable for this CPU.

Cools OK

This thing cools OK for no bigger than it is. I would buy another. This was put in a business machine and works just fine. I think it's too small to put in a gaming machine.

The noisiest part of the whole computer

Pros: Cheap. Moves air. Keeps processor under room temp at idle. Comes with thermal paste applied. Cons: Loudest cpu fan I have ever seen. 3 wire fan so you need a fan controller or a mother board that supports speedfan otherwise it will run at 3500 rpm all day. No way you could use this without a fan controller in a home theater computer. Shopping for a replacement right now, it's too loud even for my kids to play games on.

died in less than 1 week

Came in a bundle with my fx-6100. Died in less than a week. Picked up a decent fan(freezer13) at another store by my house for less than $20.. waaay better. Spend a few extra bucks.. you get what you pay for..

Too Small for the kit I ordered

I ordered a barebones kit with an AMD FX-6100 CPU and they sent this cooler in the kit. The fan started to fail after two weeks. I have never used a fan with a rifle bearing before, but my ball bearing fans run perfectly for years and years. When the fan started to make an awful noise I started to research this cooler. I found that this cooler is for 65W processors (no such info on TD). The 6100 CPU that came with the kit is a 95W processor. So this cooler should have never been paired with this processor. Lesson leaned is to verify the proper cooler for the processor.

Basic Fan

Nothing Fancy, it quietly cools my FX-6100 Cpu with no problems. Something to consider upgrading in the future.

works good but it did not come with CPU connction

It works but this is a 3 pin connection wich connects to the system not the CPU on the motherboard. So if you want to add a fan for the case make sure it comes with 4 pin connection to the power supply.

Too small for the 6 core kit you're selling

The headline says it all. I have already had to replace the cpu fan because the heat generated from the 6 core processor is too much for this fan. Think again on your kits.
