It seems to work
I've only used it once so far, but it worked. It's a little cheesy in construction, and you have to manually pull back the spring-loaded cover to insert a drive, plus it lacks an eject lever that I've seen on some more expensive models. For occasional use, it's fine, but if you are constantly loading and removing drives I think there are better (though more expensive) options.

Shows 3 TB drive & doesn't support it
Value is good for what you get, little less than true USB 2 speeds, features are standard, quality is average too. Picture is misleading - shows unsupported 3.0 TB drive. This drive will only format as 800MB even if using GPT.

usb 3.0 does not work
USB 3.0 switches to USB 2.0 (you can tell by the speed which maxes out around 30 for USB 2.0).

Horrible Product - Avoid Sabrent
With this Sabrent USB 3 dock & a Sabrent USB 3 card, I found speeds that were not even as fast as USB 2. After a long, painful exchange with Sabrent tech support & a USB 3 card replacement, the speeds are still only USB 2 at best (using win 7 x64). After only a handful of backups with this device, the dock will no longer power on. Sabrent is junk to be avoided. If you're looking for USB 3, look elsewhere.

You Get What You Pay For
Does its basic job, but not brilliantly. Average construction. USB 3.0 functionality very unstable: after intermittent disconnections with various USB 3.0 ports, I moved this dock to a USB 2.0 port and the connection instability goes away. If you use this dock to salvage certain drives, it may be an inexpensive solution. But if you need a dock as part of a storage management solution, do more research and be willing to pay at least double this price.

Absolutely wonderful product, I will definitely buy another. The sliding thing on top is a little annoying bit other than that it is great.

Great Dock
Installation was simple. Works with my HP Envy 3.0 Port. I also use it with my Windows 7 Desktop with USB 2.0. I was a bit disappointed that 3.0 will not necessarily deliver 10x the speed as 2.0. Lots of variable to that, i.e. HDD itself, mobo etc. But transfer rate is well within performance expectations for 3.0. Great idea to have the dock instead of enclosure, i have 3 rotating 2TB HDD that I duplicate daily. AOK.

Works Great
Set it up with Windows 7, both USB 2.0 and 3.0 Works great, plug and play. I tested it on 2 TB Drives, but I was assured these can support higher.
