Happy
Wiring was obstructing cpu fan blades, quick adjustment fixed that. Part of first build in over 20yrs. No problems. Installed in a CM Storm tower with GTX650Ti video card, i5, 22g memory and running windows 8. No problems at all.

Works Perfect
Part of a gaming rebuild, thiworks great. Old PC was single-core 3.0GHz, so this is great improvement. Never lags, never clocks over 50% of usage, and with 8GB RAM, it takes all I can throw at it. Doesn't get hot, mostly thanks to tower so can't judge that. Used thermal grease as well, but it works way better than I could have hoped. Fast, quiet, cool.

Easy and cheap but should of gone for 2500k
Its a solid processor, easy to instal and performs well. Runs hot with the stock cooler thou, would recommend getting a better one right from the start. Besides that, it's solid but the 2500k has a little better flexibility.

you have no need to buy an i7 , everything else technologywise is still trying to catch up to the cpu industry. great cpu all around
