Awesome
Purchased this along with the rest of the products for my first build. This beast will run 5.2GHz and only spike temps of about 70C. For less heat I clock down to 4.6 at 1.37 volts and hit temps of around 55 under load.

What can I say, Intel
Funny you buy a plug and play and have to spend a whole when you can just build a more than average speed computer with only having to assemble parts and install OS .. my first time doing this and I gotta say I had to use Intel core to make a like I wanted machine .. the i5 is best value to me and the price was great.

Great for what I need
I bought it in a bundle and couldn't be happier. I'm not all that techie, so I'll just say the only thing I wasn't impressed with was the way the fan was mounted. Instructions weren't straight forward enough for me and I was afraid of breaking something while figuring out how to install the fan. Maybe that's why people buy aftermarket fans. Once installed, no problems at all.

A Beast...
I got this as part of a barebones kit, and holy mother of dogsnot, this processor is more of a beast than I though it would be. Easy to install, and once you enable automatic overclocking on the motherboard, you shouldn't need another processor for a while. This thing rocks!

It's a winner
Blazing fast! I converted a ton of music in iTunes in a split second. I threw this processor into a barebones system and was multitasking like a madman installing program after program without so much as a stutter of hesitation. I love this thing.

Can't go wrong
I don't think there is a better processor than Intel. This one is just like the rest, excellent. Sure, a little pricey maybe, but then I believe you pay for what you get. Take care to install and it will work like a gem for you.
