Solved my problem perfectly!
I set up a web cam in my shop to keep an eye on the far end of the building. Wireless is affected by the metal structure. This cable fit the bill. Simply ran the cable through from the cam to my PC and downloaded a free viewing program and that was it! Works great, well made, reliable name brand, these guys reliable service. I give it an A+.

Really works!
Signal strength is just as good as with a direct connection. No problem! Buy this if you need a long USB cable. You won't regret it.

Great for video
I purchased this specifically to work with my PS3 webcam for videoconferencing. The length lets me take the camera anywhere in my home (which I'm renovating) and quite a ways outside with no signal degradation at all! The PlayStation3 had no issues with it.
