Read this before buying
When I tried uesing PC Mover Ultimate it never worked for me. I was moving from Vista to Windows 7. At first my McAfee anti-virus was causing it to quite. I took McAfee completely off the computer with Revo Uninstaller and it still would not work. I ended up using the data mover in the Windows software and it worked just fine.

does what it claims to do
i was able to move my windows programs and files and folders without any problems. just read the instructions more than once and follow them step by step and you will have no problems. the undo feature is great for those that can not follow directions.

Wonderful
I have used this software on many computers and it does it's job wonderfully. I have a log of all serial number and activation codes so if on of the programs is quirky on the w7 system I can run a repair. This saves a lot of time

Did not work well on anything but files
I bought this because I did not want any hassles going from my XP laptop to my new PC. It actually messed up my outlook so I could not send any emails, Quicken would not properly open, I never got around to checking the fav under exploer so that may have worked. It messed things up so much I used the option to reverse the process but that did not even work. I had to search online and figure out how to fix what it did to my email. THis was a waste of $46, a lot of time, and caused more headache.
