GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE

I've had this for about two months now. I don't use it very often but it has worked perfectly every time. The only drawback is that it feels very cheap. I don't know if it will last very long.

Works great...when it works

This thing came with NO instructions and it took a lot of experimenting before I discovered songs on flash drive must be in MP3 format...which means I had to re-rip all my CDs again. Once I figured that out and found an empty frequency it worked great! It even remembered the frequency after power restored - I suspect it saves it to flash. My only complaints are it doesn't go very loud, and songs are played in sequence. After about a week it started resetting itself randomly. After some experiments we believe this is due to glitchy power from my car as it works in wife's car okay...but it shouldn't be so sensitive to this kind of thing. SO, overall it is great product, especially for the price, but it could be better.

Fried on plug in.

I plugged it into the cigarette lighter and the thing smoked. Didn't even blow the fuse just fried.

Broke within the first week

I used it for a week. Then on one trip, I smelled something like burning electronics. I realized it was the fm transmitter and unplugged it. I also had some problems with the device itself. It doesn't remember what channel you want to transmit over so you have to set it every time you turn on your car. And the sound quality is terrible.

not an option to go for

This item messed up my car audio system. Just the second time I plugged it in the car, short circuited the whole audio system and I had to spend $$ to rectify it. Very unhappy.

Works Great

I use it with my iPhone and it works great. Couldn't beat the price ANYWHERE!

Awesome

Never had luck with FM transmitting adapters, but at $7 it was worth a shot. The signal comes through strong and crystal clear. It saved me $150 for not having to go to a car audio tech shop and have them crack open my stereo to put in an auxiliary input cable.

Ok for the price but not a great performer

Seems to lack power and intermittently only transmits to one speaker at a time. Determined the problem was the antena placement on the vehicle and number of passengers blocking the signal through the car. You get what you pay for so the extra $20 for a better device would have been worth it.

Works as expected

The transmitter works as expeted, the only thing is does not is to keep in memory the radio frequency selected to match with your car radio. You have to select that frequency each time you start your car.

What a pile of junk

I was pretty excited about his rig. On paper it looks great. I plugged it all in, tuned my stereo to the right freq and let it rip. At first it seemed alright. The sound quality was fine and its not a bad looking unit. Then the song got to a quiet part and there was a constant tapping in the mix... Click... Click... Click... I tried to figure out where the clicking was coming from and discovered that every time I moved the cord a loud bout of static came ripping through the system. I'm returning this thing.
