Never had a headset before for gaming, this one worked very well. Sound is great and the price was very good.

nice
I have been using these for a couple of weeks and I can say that they are quite nice. The sound is very good. The fit is good and they are comfortable. My head is kinda big but I believe these would fit a small head well. They seem to be well made. You have to realize that these are headphones and slamming anything plastic is not a good idea. If you treat them with some common sense they should last years. The cord is flat and fairly long. Take care not to pull on it as it could be damaged if hooked and pulled repetively on a desk drawer or something like that. Took me a little while to figure out that you must set them as the default sound and microphone device, software will not do it automatically. Once set they work everytime. If you unplug the USB cord, the sound will default back to your computer speakers, sound surround, or whatever else is hooked up. As with any over ear headphone after an hour or so it will get warm. Bottom line I would buy these again

One Headset Multi Uses
Been using this headset for about a month now. I agree with most of the positive reviews, however nobody mentioned one of my favorite features. The dual mode connection plugs are great. When listening to music the analog jack lets me connect to my sound card with its built-in headphone amp. For movies or gaming the USB connection has the superior sound.

Nice headphones
Pros: The sound quality is good, very comfortable. Cons: Came scratched from factory, so bad that i thought i bought a refurbished set by mistake, turned out i'm not the only one, factory packaging fault, they offered me an exchange. the microphone foam ball keeps on falling it's so loose, i keep finding it on the ground.

Not so great for a picky person like me
yes it does sound good. But microphone is not loud at all and the software does not bring a way to boost the mic. I had the fatal1ty HS-1000 before I bought this and I was amazed at the fact that this headsets are newer and not even the USB audio card is better than the past HS-1000. The HS-1000 had a USB card that will go up to 24 bit 48KHz. Amazing quality for a USB interface. This only go up to 24 bit 44.1KHz. Not so great. But for sure better than the steelseries that only go up to 16bit. Anyway I wouldnt recommend it if you are always in team speak or ventrilo. Mic needs to be louder

Music To My Ears... LOL
I ordered these to go along with my SB Recon PCIe and the sounds that I get from them are absolutely fantastic. Deep Booming Base, Crisp Clear Highs and Perfect Mids... I knew tha tthey's be a great purchase because the Recon (SB1350) does such a wonderful job at decoding the audio from my HTPC... The biggest thing for me was the liberal return policy that this company offers. I mention this because I have large ears and all too often I cannot find a pair that fit properly and comfortably and sounds good. These fit the bill on all accounts and thankfully will be staying right here with me instead of being returned. Would I recomend this set to others? YEP' Thanx

Best Headset For the Price
I have been looking to buy a headset for a long time and when I saw these on sale I decided to pick up a pair. Normally when gaming I would use my studio condenser microphone for recording my voice but because it can be a hassle to setup and move I wanted to get a headset with a great quality microphone. The microphone on this headset is very good and there is no fuzz or hissing sound produced. What surprised me the most about this headset was the audio quality from the headphones and the comfort(especially wearing glasses). Other than that the flat wire seems kinda cheap and the headset sicks out like 2 inches from your ears. Also the THX usb adapter worked perfect on windows 7 but on mountain lion if you go to change the settings in the sound blaster control application the microphone starts making glitching noises and the program crashes sometimes. I would definitely recommend this headset.
