Nice, if it works
Bought this as a gift. Loaded songs on the unit. Tested the radio, and it was ok. Plated loaded songs, and on the first one, the unit froze up. Could not use the menu, or turn it off. Waited for the battery to discharge. Recharged the unit, and tried again. Froze up again! Sent it back for refund. Best advice, do not buy this item!!!

Over-all a good product......
However, it does not play MP4s as advertised (or at least not in the 3 different formats I tried) and the cable to hook it up to the TV does not work well. (you have to play and wiggle it just to get an image and sound that does not squeak) As an MP3 player with expansion it's great, and the video quality, for such a small screen, is good too. I also found out a day later that they bundled this product with a portable speaker for the same price, I purchased that as well and the Visual Land speaker is AWESOME for such a small size. I recommend purchasing the bundle.

Buy the Touch instead
The product works fine. I bought a 16 gb micro SD card and it worked, which is some good information as I called Visual Land to see if there was a size limit on the card I could use and the guy was clueless. The main problem is navigating through all of the menus. I suspect the touch is much easier, although I'm not sure about that, but this one can be a real pain. And, expect to buy some new ear buds as the ones that come with it are not very good. I bought some Yamaha ear buds and it sounds great now.

Waste of money
Bought this for my son and he loved it! We loaded it with music and he was a happy camper! A few days later he said he was missing songs and the next time he charged, everythings erased! This has happened several times.

Needs Work
Fresh out of the box, it works great. I would not recommend this to many people, however. The case is prone to coming apart, and the screen is very easy to break. I would spend a bit more money and go for a much more quality mp3 Player.

poor product
when using this product be sure to be in a dimly lit room, otherwise you cannot read the display. when you try to use it in the sunlight, you cannot see the display to even turn the unit on. if you could see the display this would be a good but.

Worst product
Came DOA. Doesn't worth even to return it. Goes to the trash. Don't even think about buy it. Go for sansa clip instead. This a really bad quality product.
