The original fan of y 2 years old Radeon 9600 card became noisy. So I bought this Iceberq 4 fan to replace it. Everywhere (here on description and review, on Vantec website, other online stores, on the box) it say recommended for Radeon 9600 card. So why this fan doesn't fit on my card?? There are 2 transistors on the way that make it impossible to install the fan. The solid bottom of the fan is impossible to bend or cut to make it fit, so I simply wasted my money.

I bought this for my GeForce MX 4000, and it fit perfectly. I got this as I was interested in overclocking and my vid card was hot (to touch, no temp sensor). I got this and suddenly the thing never gets hot. Good product. I got my card from core 250mhz to 400mhz and memory from 280 mhz to 501 mhz. It still never gets hot.

I give 5 all the way across the board fit my 7300 gs perfectly (even tho it's not listed) had too use the adapter to power it straight off psu, and now temps stay nice and low even under full load. Plus it's not as load as the stock fan that died.

I bought this to replace the broken fan on my Radeon 9600. Works great, is quiet. Installation was very easy, fit perfectly, and the extra heat sinks are a nice added bonus. I can't say for sure if those make much difference, but this fan allows me to put all the settings (overdrive, etc) on the highest setting, and it stays cool. It definitely looks like overkill on my (older model) videocard, but no one is looking. Basically, it makes the rest of my computer look lame.

I bought this for my Radeon 9800 Pro because the stock cooler covered up some of the BGA RAM chips, and I wanted to put heatsinks on them. This product looks great and installation was very easy. For some reason, however, something (the cooler or the chip... not likely the chip) was bowed and the heatsink did not touch the core unless I put excess thermal paste on it. With excess thermal paste, it couldn't cool properly. I can't recommend this product to anyone. Other people seem to have good success with it, so be careful. Good luck!

I bought this fan for my half card type Pny 7300 GS 256mb geforce, The original fan was loud and ran average 57C. I wasn't looking for a fan that could cool better, but more quiet. This fan is quiet. And the average temp stays at 54C. Easy to install, with push pins, Everything lined right up. Only changes I made was shorten the wires and put on a two prong plug, Little soldering and heat shrink tubing. This fan comes with three wires (yellow, red, black) Which the yellow you don't need unless you want to monitor the fan speed. I would recommend this fan for anyone with a loud fan.

I used this to replace the loud and worn out fan on a PNY 6600GT (256mb AGP). The mounting holes have the right spacing for the video card, but the tabs that stick out get in the way of one of the capacitors on the board. In order to mount, I had to drill another set of mounting holes to rotate the heat sink to clear the capacitor. Otherwise it's a good product.

Great used this to overclock my ati radeon 9250. it takes down the temp around 10 degrees C. it gets more rpm's if you take off the blue top and its quieter. it also looks better for ati cards if the top is off that way its all copper anlooks like an ati fan. the downside is that it only has 4 heatsinks and most cards have 8 ram. so i bought the 8 pack of them and they are better than the 4 that came with the fan itself.

This was a wise investment! I've got a GeForce 5200 PCI video card, which I've managed to overclock to 320 core/456 mem. When I was gaming, I'd always get a 5-second freeze every two minutes, and then it would un-freeze. It was really annoying, so I installed this, and BAM! - totally stable. For less than $30, it makes my gaming way more enjoyable. Two-day delivery, and easy to install. Just make sure you use Arctic Silver 5 instead of the stock thermal paste. Nice job Vantec!
