Perfect for our needs
I've seen some of the lesser reviews, but all it took was for my wife and daughter to see Grammy in Ohio and it was totally worth it. :D

Less Is More
This is a small object but it offers the user a large array of capabilities, photos, videos and connections to social groups. The camera has all the tools you will need and the software when updated is always up to date as is the bios.

A little slow to focus
This camera is much better than the other two cameras I have used. The camera is a little slow to focus, but works fine on Google video chat. I use it routinely to chat with my co-worker in CHIPS, a program to refurbish and give computers to homebound and isolated persons. I expect it will be used for many others in the future.

Great Cam for the Money
Purchased it for 30.00 and very happy with it. It works with Linux and Linux software, ''Video4Linux''. This software allow you to turn off auto-focus which seems to be the biggest problem with this cam. Can't review on the updated software from Creative because I'm using Linux setup. I just plugged it in and it works. If it works with Linux then its got to be good!

Works but that is about all
The software hook up is torturous as you have to go to the manufacturer to get a very long update. I am running Windows 7 professional and it rejected the initial load from the provided DVD and it took two attempts before the initial load. After I finally got the system loaded I contacted a correspondent on Skype to evaluate the performance of the camcorder vs the performance of the basic camcorder on my HP netbook. The basic camcorder that came with my netbook provided a better picture for my correspondent, however the other camcorder did work satisfactorily.

Little Web Cam
The auto-focus doesn't work well, as others have mentioned. The latest firmware from the website is the one I am using, and it still has problems with blurry refocusing. Some of the software with the avatars and things are interesting, and the mic is pretty good, but it is not really suitable for doing stop-motion(what I was using it for), because the auto-focus is pretty bad.

I like it and saved $50.00
This cam was easy to set up and use. The pictures looks great and I caught it on sale for $39.00 so you couldn't beat the price.
