A good bang for the buck!
I purchased this drive for the purpose of backing my data as well as having a handy, small, portable HDD. I have pleasantly discovered it to be so much more with the included software. Continuous, automatic backup of all my pics, documents, etc.. Although WD has lowered prices on larger external drives, this serves my purpose nicely and is unobtrusive as it sits next to my computer on my desk. Currently offered for $10 less than I paid, I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Total Satisfaction
Reformatted drive for mostly Linux use. I use USB 3 on my main computer and USB 2 for things like media. This drive is fine with both, but USB 3 is significantly faster. Movies play fine with USB 2. Plug into a USB connector and it works. No manual needed. LOL.

Nice little drive
I have a few small external drives. Most are Western Digital, and I have no problems with any of them. This one is the smallest external drive I have, is USB 3 compatible, and the price was great. The drive works reliably with just a single USB connection. I have no negative comments to make about it, with the minor exception that a soft zippered case (like other WD drives I have) would have been nice. As if it would have cost the manufacturer to much. Like there is only a 50 cent margin on the drive?

Great product
Had no issues with this whatsoever. I've constantly switched it between my router, computer and xbox 360 and in all cases it's been detected quickly and correctly.

Great price
Price is great. Work as it described. Plug and play, no manual require!! Not sure why someone needs owners manual for storage.
