Good Deal
Previous models had rotation function on remote control. This model requires you to use mouse at unit. Features not as simple as earlier models. Bring back the good stuff.

Good product
I bought this unit to replace my existing QC-444-415 I have no problem just needed to add more cameras and by theway do not buy the CMOS type they are horrible at night, I have four CCD and they are just perfect, need to spend more money and add the PTZ, and yes there is no hard drive with the QS408 the box said so if you bother to read the box, the I just tokk the one fro my QC444 and installed it with no problem, there are two bracked to hold it in place just read the installation instruction, it works great just need to get Gmail account and couple more hight tech cameras and I am set.

Some expected flaws but a good value
A little flimsy here and there, but overall it's as advertised. I opened it up, added my hard drive, plugged in my 8-cameras, did some minor network configuration via the local video and mouse and we were on the network - web and mobile software more stable than previous versions - overall, things work good enough to be an excellent value.
