Works great!!
I am not sure why the other person had so much trouble with this product. I opened mine and it worked like a charm. I currently have the older cx sitting right next to the new one. Both of them look great. The only thing that made me sad was that the USB 3.0 version of the cx did not come in a combo eSATA. Hopefully vantec will release one in the future. If you are looking for a nice looking USB 3.0 enclosure this one is the one to go with.

Will not work on USB 3.0 ports
Bought 2 of these units. Neither would work on a USB 3.0 port of multiple workstations. Works fine on USB 2.0. Don't buy if you want 3.0 speed.
