Worth the while
This is a very good camera, if you are a mid-level photographer. The features are a definite win over the similar Nikon camera. However, the Nikon has the metal composite, weather-proof construction that this Canon lacks. Its performance, especially when shooting on a tripod, is exceptional. Very welcome is the faster continuous shooting mode over the Canon T4i, and of course the 18 megapixels typical for the T-line (except the T1i). The HD video capability is awesome, as well as the addition of filters in the software (saves time on Photoshop later). A very good purchase!

Best camera purchase ever!
I bought this camera just to capture great detail when taking pics of my portrait art to post on my website. My expectations have been exceeded and I am so happy I chose this camera over all the others I researched. The HD-video on this camera is a really nice feature as well. After I purchased it I found out that I had to have a class 6 or higher sd card in order for the video feature to work. So, I bought a class 10 sd card and now the video feature runs flawlessly. I've the camera now for about a month and I am still learning new things about it.

Near best to 7D
Love the camera. Was using a 7d before and 60 is great and almost same and price is right. Standard lense 18-135mm is ok for normal use but will be upgrading later for a macro lens.

Great intro DSLR
Excellent features. I spent a ton of time researching which camera to buy and landed here and I am so happy I did. Definitely worth the extra money as a trade up from the Rebel series. Great lens too. Absolutely worth the buy.

Love this camera!
This camera is awesome! The picture quality and speed are amazing. We bought an additional flash with ours and it only makes the pictures better. It is bulky (which most SLR's are) and it is pricey but the return in performance is more than worth it.

Great Choice
Upgraded from the basic EOS xs, used that as my learning curve. EOS 60D is a bigger step up than I imagined, but worth it, low light capabilities with my 17-50 Tamron lens much improved and I was quite impressed with the xs. 60D is heavier, and feels solidly built, just having fun learning and experimenting.

great camera
The only fault I've found after two weeks of use is that this camera lens combo is very heavy when hanging around your neck for an extended time. If that is not a problem for you then you will probably love this combo.

BEAST MODE!
Amazing Camera. PERIOD! I purchased it somewhere else about 3 months ago for 1399 which is the original price here. I had the t1i and and bought this because i wanted more! and this deffinetly fits what i wanted and more. The only con is that with the 18-135mm it is a bit heavy compared to the t1i it feals like almost double the weight but what you get is well worth it. The video capture capabilities of this camera are nice aswell replaced my sony camcorder for good.

Everything expected and more
I sold my T2i and bought the 60D mainley for the articulating screen. However, I have found its more than just the screen. The features and feel are just better.

Best bang for the buck for the enthusiast
I recently purchased this camera and couldn't be happier with it. I was looking for something more sturdy and advanced. The camera takes great pictures and is a fast shooter with a 5.3 shots per second capability. The 18-135mm lense is great and versatile. The swivel LCD is very useful for taking pics from unusual angles. I was able to get some great shots standing in a crowd holding the camera over my head using the swivel LCD. The camera is built well and has a more solid feel than the T2i or the D90. Video capability is excellent. Where this camera really stands out is the 2nd LCD screen on top of the camera and the ability to make quick changes to the settings so you get the perfect shot. If you are looking to grow in to more advanced photography this is your camera. The money you save you can start upgrading your lense collection.
