Monitor your business activities using the Q-See DVR Security System. The DVR Security System helps you keep an eye over any happenings in the premises. Featuring 1 VGA and 2 BNC connectors, this 16 channel DVR can handle as many as 16 cameras and comes with real time CIF recording, or D1 recording at a lower frame rate. It gives remote access allowing you to keep vigilant via cell phones with Windows Mobile Pro and Symbian OS, iPhones®, ipads® and Android on 3G networks. Allowing huge storage capacity, its H.264 compression also ensures excellent quality images while recording video on to a hard drive. This can display live footage, record, playback, connect via network, and back-up without any recording loss at the same time. Excelent upgrade from QC408
This system was easy to set up. I got a seperate 1.5 TB drive and total cost was $$$+++ les then same unit with 500GB drive buikt in. the on line and moble monitoring are great. Q-see paperwork needs to me updated to indicat there own FREE Moble app that works as well or better then the recomended one. My old system use to show false motion 90% of the time at night and would load up the Hard drive in a much quicker time.

excellent unit for the price
Having worked with banks security systems for years and I always thougth that a good DVR would cost a lot of money, not until I found Q-SEE DVR's they are packed with some professional features that no one will ever use unless yoy know about them, not to mention the price they cannot be beat for their quality.

Good Product
It's a good product, despite it is no longer compatible with nokia simbian belle. So the advertisement may be misleading! It should have had an exception of symbian belle. In very long conversations with the q-see employee, Brendon Welch, he gently explained the reason why q-see did not want to rewrite the scam software once symbian is being fazed out.

A great value!
I have been using several different surveillance systems for seven years. This one is great! It's easy to search and view via iphone. A lightning strike damaged the network interface on one of my early units. The repair was easy and involved just moving the hard drive from the damaged unit to a replacement unit. I have isolated the unit from future lightning using wifi links. I am ordering some more of these!
